% Z+bjet cross section % The cross section was measured for b-jets with Et>20 GeV and |eta|<1.5 at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV. % It is defined as a per-jet cross section, i.e. it is proportional to the number % of b-jets and not the number of events. % % It was published in 2006: % http://arxiv.org/pdf/hep-ex/0605099 % % published Results (0.3 fb^-1): sigma(Z+b-jet) = 0.93 +- 0.29 (stat.) +- 0.21 (syst.) pb sigma(Z+b-jet)/sigma(Z)= 0.37 +- 0.11 (stat.) +- 0.08 % sigma(Z+b-jet)/sigma(Z+jet)= 2.36 +- 0.74 (stat.) +- 0.53 % % prel Results (2 fb^-1): - Total cross sections for Et_jet>20 GeV and |eta_jet|<1.5 sigma(Z+b-jet) = 0.86 +- 0.14 (stat.) +- 0.12 (syst.) pb sigma(Z+b-jet)/sigma(Z)= 0.336 +- 0.053 (stat.) +- 0.041 % sigma(Z+b-jet)/sigma(Z+jet)= 2.11 +- 0.33 (stat.) +- 0.34 % - Differential results: in all cases the statistical error is the 1st and the systematic the 2nd. Also, we present the ratio to the total Z cross section in all cases, i.e. sigma(xx)/sigma(Z) for each measured quantity xx. For all cross sections the generic cuts of Et_jet>20 GeV and |eta_jet|<1.5 are applied. 1) versus jet Et. This measurement is proportional to the number of jet (not to the number of event), i.e. each b-jet enters. The cross section are given per GeV. 25=1 b-jet.
